Anzoátegui-2018
Short film
Focusing on my maternal family's history, this short film also recounts the experiences of their friends and part of the town's story (Anzoátegui, Tolima). It is set during bipartisan violence, where, despite widespread atrocities, it illustrates how people adapted and built their lives amidst extreme conflict.

Let´s go. Here they come
Videoinstalation
Let´s go, Here they´ll come is a project that arises from the journeys of my mother and my grandmother in their hometown. The work proposes, from the visual and sound space, to travel through the displacements that they and the inhabitants of the village had to make when the bandits, whom they called birds, came to attack the place. They are journeys from their home to certain areas of refuge, spaces and temporalities reconstructed through soundscapes and a multiplicity of image layers.

Notations about creative process, essays.
This research on Anzoátegui led me to develop experiments with audiovisual essays, using them as a space for reflection and connection where I searched for relationships between my mother's and grandmother's past, mixed with my personal experiences in relation to the creation of the installation and the short film. The annotations helped me to establish conceptual and emotional ideas about the process. This first essay piece that I made wonders about the voice-over of the short film and my difficulty in finding it.
